Location is Jones Beach West End Boat Basin, Nassau County, near the USCG Station. We were scoping the inlet north of the comfort station. The Pacific Loon was feeding actively and traveled a good distance from west to east as we watched. When we left it was even with the M10 exit sign on the Meadowbrook Parkway, far to the northeast.
