Glad for eBird report by Michael Grossman this morning of two Purple
Martins on the nesting tower by the entrance booth at Croton Point Park.

Fifth year for martin occupancy at this tower, established by Saw Mill
River Audubon with funding support from the Feed the Birds store in
Croton-on-Hudson and the Westchester Parks Foundation.

Of note is a second nesting tower up for third year at Rockwood Hall State
Park to the south along the Hudson. Last year, second year, this tower
also attracted nesting Purple Martins so hopefully they will have returns
this year as well.

(Note that one martin decoy is present on both towers and both decoys have
inadvertently been eBirded in past years...)
