I just happened onto a site for the Schoharie County Eagle Trail today which peaked my interest since I went to school in Cobleskill and I'm very familiar with the area. I had not heard of this trail, but it seems it's brand new, opening this spring. It starts at Cobleskill and continues east to Esperance and Central Bridge and goes south to Franklinton Vlie and Gilboa. There is a map that shows where each spot is and the best way to view the eagles. I must say kudos to the founder of the trail and all those involved. A nice thing to have in the county and NY.
