The Mottled Duck on Avon Lake, Amityville (L.I.) was visible at about 11:00 today, directly across from the southernmost house on E. Lake Drive. It was resting against the west bank of the lake, below shrubs, just where it was seen yesterday. It was in the company of a female Mallard.
