Highlights on a cloudy and breezy Saturday: Seven species of Wood Warblers 
including Black-throated Green Warbler. Also Yellow-throated Vireo, Spotted 
Sandpiper, and, reported by David Barrett, a Calling Acadian Flycatcher.

Mallard - 5 or 6
Mourning Dove - 35-40
Chimney Swift - 3 or 4
Spotted Sandpiper - 1 flyover Boathouse
Herring Gull - 2 or 3 flyovers
Double-crested Cormorant - 4 or 5
Black-crowned Night-Heron - 1 flyover Bow Bridge
Red-tailed Hawk - 2 flyovers
Great Horned Owl - 1 continuing mobbed by American Crows
Red-bellied Woodpecker - 3 or 4
Downy Woodpecker - 1 Swampy Pin Oak
Northern Flicker - 1 in the Ramble
Great Crested Flycatcher - heard Shakespeare Garden
Eastern Kingbird - pair Turtle Pond
Eastern Wood-Pewee - 1 south side Turtle Pond
Acadian Flycatcher - 1 calling at Gill Overlook reported by David Barrett*
Yellow-throated Vireo - 1 SE Turtle Pond (Anindya Seng)
Warbling Vireo - 4 or 5
Red-eyed Vireo - 5
Blue Jay - nesting in pine Shakespeare Garden

Northern Cardinal - 6-8 including male feeding fledgling in Ramble
