What's your hurry Hermann? There are still 16 whole days till the handicapped time trial... I wouldn't be surprised if the changes were announced after the event, thereby potentially robbing you or some other fast, forty-plusser of the win.
I'm curious about three things: one, why change the handicap method in the first place? Because of one request? Two, why leave the decision to some guy on the board who has nothing to do with time trials? And three, if it had to be changed, why wasn't it done well in advance of the event and then publicized in the Spokesperson? Bruce reviewed the rtequest and we discussed it at last Monday's Board meeting. Bruce will announce the 2002 handicapping method shortly.
