14 cyclist arrived at billings Bridge to do the tour, including 4 non members and a father and daughter team.
10 rode in the faster group which was in view for the first half of the tour. James had a map planned but did not get a chance to ride it to put in the Km's so I used a route that we had rode earlier in the season to Carlsbad Springs a total of 46.5 Km's. It appears that it is getting darker faster than I'm reducing the Km's and we arrived back at Billings Bridge in the dark. It's very hard to come up with a route under 40 Km's but I will have to try harder for next week which will be the last ride starting at 6:00 PM. In September the start time will be 5:30 PM. Scott led the faster group and James brought up the rear. All went well and all seemed to enjoy themselves and all the new members had no problems staying with the pack they choose, although it always surprises me to see new riders in July, August and September when the rides start in April. With the routes I have now and the ones I should get done over the off season it should be a interesting year next year with all rides on a different route.
