Here is a link to the pronunciation key for the initial proposal:

Hi Sanjiva, There was a recent thread about status that you can review at: http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/incubator-ode-dev/200607.mbox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] At this point, we are mostly cleaning up the code in preparation for an import into the trunk. We are also fixing regressions that happened as a consequence of the migration to the new integration layer. There are two working implementations of the integration layer available in the pxe scratch area that allow you to deploy on a JBI container or on a servlet container inside Axis2. http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/ode/scratch/pxe-iapi/axis2/ http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/ode/scratch/pxe-iapi/jbi-install/ We are working on examples for both implementations which you can find under: http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/ode/scratch/pxe-iapi/jbi-examples/ http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/ode/scratch/pxe-iapi/axis2-examples/ On the design/architecture side, there's information available in the Ode Wiki; most notably the Jacob introduction at http://wiki.apache.org/ode/Jacob and there's been plenty of exchanges about the integration layer and its API on this list. The Javadoc is available at http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/ode/trunk/bpel-api/src/main/java/org/apache/ode/iapi/ along with SVG diagrams explaining the interactions. There's also Lance's deployment proposal at http://wiki.apache.org/ode/Architecture Once we get the code merged back into the trunk, we can begin working on the website and organize documentation, examples, build and integration HOW-TO's so all this information become easily accessible. And as far as pronunciation is concerned, I've gotten used to saying "Apache Oh-Dee-Eee" since "Oad" doesn't project very much and "Odi" didn't seem like the right pronunciation to me. And people seems to understand better if I spell it out ;) alex Sanjiva Weerawarana wrote: > I'd like to find out how ODE's progressing but its hard to tell where > things are etc. just from the mailing list. > > Can someone please post a summary of where things are?
