Lance,

The spec keeps assigns to the very basics, copy nodes from one place to
another. There's no specific construct for deleting or inserting nodes.

But you can get more complicated transformations using the
bpel:doXslTransform() XPath function (section 8.4, shortly before 8.4.1).
