I thought about it too for my 54. My understanding is that you will need to weld in new engine mounts on your frame. That was more than I wanted to tackle. I waited until I found a 235 that is just a bolt in. Others will likely have better information. If you don't mind putting in the engine mounts it should be a good engine otherwise.
