Do you have a DayStar or Apple motherboard?

-James

Yeah. It's causing system hangs in both BeOS and Linux (although only
with an SMP kernel). It's an NCR 53c96. SCSIProbe says I have a MESH
controller too, but I can't find it on the motherboard, the traces to
that bus seem to come from the 53c96, and the problem occurs with both
busses, so I suspect the 53c96 is pretending to be a MESH and doing
both busses. The problem is definitely correlated with heavy SCSI bus
activity, usually from multiple processors.
