Whilst playing around with the latest version of ClamAV I notice that it now prints this warning:
configure: WARNING: The installed pcre version may contain a security bug. Please upgrade to 8.38 or later: http://www.pcre.org. There is some information on the security fixes in 8.38 at https://blog.fuzzing-project.org/29-Heap-Overflow-in-PCRE.html but I couldn't find anything specific on the Exim mailing list. May be worth bumping the PCRE version.
