The ONLY POSSIBLE thing I can imagine is that we're seeing both of those pciex identifiers (3423 == intel_nhm, and 3438 == intel_nhmex) and picking the wrong intel CPU extras to attach. Please try these: 1.) Add "-B disable-intel_nhmex=true" to your boot string. 2.) Instead, try "-B disable-intel_nhm=true" to your boot string. Other than that, I'm stumped.
