Hello, Following the 6.5 Release Notes: 8<--- In ESXi 6.5, only a subset of VMware Tools ISO images are bundled with the ESXi 6.5 host. 8<--- windows and linux only, but you can download the tools for other OSes here: https://my.vmware.com/group/vmware/details?downloadGroup=VMTOOLS1015&productId=614 (login needed)

Unfortunately when I get to step 4 (mounting the virtual DVD install media) I see the error below. I'm seeing the same error with a Solaris 11.3 host. It seems like VMware removed their installers for Solaris & related OS. Call "VirtualMachine.MountToolsInstaller" for object "omni" on ESXi "10.1.10.11" failed. vix error code = 21001 Unable to install VMware Tools. An error occurred while trying to access image file "/usr/lib/vmware/isoimages/solaris.iso" needed to install VMware Tools: 2 (No such file or directory). Please refer the product documentation or KB article 2129825 for details about how to get VMware Tools package for this guest operating system.
