Isolate the problem to the OmniOS firewall/NAT by moving the client workstation directly onto the cable modem LAN network and confirming client connectivity.
Assuming it works when the OmniOS firewall is removed from the configuration, move the workstation back to the e1000g1 network and capture snoop(1M) on both e1000g0 and e1000g1 along with ipfstat(1M), and ipnat(1M) stats.
