When you visit openca web interface on IE6, the top menu can't be shown. The
problem is openca-menu.js didn't work well on IE6 because when request
reference to a object, checking wether it equals null cause a exception. the
fix is:
function genXMLMenu ( fname, objID, addLink )
{
if( window.XMLHttpRequest ) {
if( typeof(XMLHttpRequest) != 'undefined' ) {
try {
request = new XMLHttpRequest();
} catch ( e ) {
request = null;
}
}
} else if ( window.ActiveXObject ) {
try {
request = new ActiveXObject( 'Msxml2.XMLHTTP' );
} catch ( e ) {
try {
request = new
ActiveXObject('Microsoft.XMLHTTP');
} catch ( e ) {
request = null;
}
}
}
if( request == null ) {
alert ("Browser is not supported!");
return;
}
request.open('GET', fname, true );
request.onreadystatechange = function () { parseXMLConfig (objID,
addLink)
};
request.send(null);
return;
}
