Hi folks
I faced the same problem. I didn't find the exact root cause, but when switching back from the latest perl version to the previous, it works. (while installating the latest sources I faced the problem that a package has placed a wrong string.h file in the include pathes-> may not be related to the first problem)
Perhaps I should add a notice to our docs. Which version works and which doesn't work?
