I can't help you with the compilation problem, but SuSE ships opendx with all their distributions, for example http://mirrors.kernel.org/suse/x86_64/9.2/suse/i586/dx-4.2.0-370.1.i586.rpm It's version 4.2.0, but maybe that's good enough for you. Hope this helps, Lutz
