In upcoming release of Openmailadmin (revision > 401) you will be able to choose who passwords will get stored in DB. Then, you will be able to set in your configuration file: $cfg['passwd']['strategy'] = 'PasswordPlaintext'; or $cfg['passwd']['strategy'] = 'PasswordCrypt'; (If you do this posteriori you will have to reset every old hashed password.)
