Hello. I've been trying to get my Siemens CF76 (America version of CF75) to
connect with OpenOBEX (obexftp) with little to no sucess, via an USB cable
which provides a serial connection. The cable itself works just fine, with the
USB<->serial device is provided by the linux PL2303 driver. Using these, scmxx
(specialized software for Siemens phones) reports that the phone is found and
communication works just fine at either 115200 or 57600 bauds:

Shoshone lys # lsusb
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0458:003a KYE Systems Corp. (Mouse Systems)
Shoshone lys # modprobe pl2303
Shoshone lys # scmxx --baud 115200 -i --device /dev/ttyUSB0
Using "ANSI_X3.4-1968" as system character set.
Accessing device /dev/ttyUSB0...done
OK, a modem device is present.

Now, i know for a fact that the phone supports OBEX over the USB cable - the
Windows sofware for it (either official or third party) all use an OBEX
transport, using a serial device created with a device driver for the USB
cable, just like the PL2303 driver for Linux does. Thing is, i can't connect
*at all* using obexftp, even if i force the baudrate (stty -F /dev/ttyUSB0
115200):

Shoshone lys # obexftp -t /dev/ttyUSB0 -l -v
Connecting...failed: FBS UUID
Still trying to connect
Connecting...failed: FBS UUID
Still trying to connect
Connecting...failed: FBS UUID
Still trying to connect

Is always either an "FBS UUID" error or a "connect" one. Setting a different
UUID gives the same output. -H does not help either.

Has anyone tried to use this phone with OpenOBEX, or another Siemens one, via
the USB cable? I'm eager to try out more and share my findings, but i really
don't know what else to try at this point.
