Hi folks,
Oliver Neukum has written a kernel driver for CDC Wireless Device
Management interface (which is specified right next to the OBEX
interface in the WMC spec), and he's looking for testers. If you have
a Sony Ericsson V600i phone, you definitely can help, otherwise look
for something in lsusb -v output that looks like:
Interface Descriptor:
bLength 9
bDescriptorType 4
bInterfaceNumber 7
bAlternateSetting 0
bNumEndpoints 1
bInterfaceClass 2 Communications
bInterfaceSubClass 9 Device Management
bInterfaceProtocol 1
iInterface 12 Sony Ericsson 600i USB WMC Device Management
The important part here is that interface class should be 2 and
interface subclass should be 9. If you do have such a gadget, please
get in touch with Oliver off-list.
