Thanx for your suggestion. If you can compile the head it should be ok for
me since the commit for the RTOS support with the STLINK is now in the main
tree. 

I will try to get the openocd build on my side. I like this tool, And when I
want to add some feature it's a must to be able to compile it. 

I will try the libusbx but i doubt this will correct the -pthread error. 

I always end up with 
i686-w64-mingw32-gcc: error: unrecognized option '-pthread'

With configure line like this

./configure --build=i686-pc-linux-gnu --host=i686-w64-mingw32 \
--enable-maintainer-mode \
--prefix=/tmp/cross-compile/output \
--disable-werror \
--disable-shared \
--enable-ft2232_libftdi \
--enable-stlink
