Hm, that looks a little strange. Unfortunately the DDS loader is something we
got from the web (I think it's an MS sample implementation), so we really are
not sure if it handles the complete spec including compressed volumes, and as
nobody really knows the code there is no trivial way to check.
We're currently on a tight schedule for an important project, so it will be a
while before we have time to dive into this. If somebody knows the sample
loader, or knows some other Open Source DDS loader that could replace it and
wants to try fixing it that would be appreciated.
