Okay, did a full clean rebuild. Checked all my paths. But still exactly
the same problems.
I have no other versions of the lib lying around.
Does anyone have a similar problem? Or any suggestions what might be
going on?
Could I use the libs generated by VS8 in VS7 projects?

I used 1.8 and the lib from the supportlibs, yep.
I'll try the latest dailybuild to see if it solves my problems.

which version are you using a current 1.8 or 1.6? Did you use the tiff
lib from the supportlibs.zip? The .net 2003 dailybuild on
http://www.opensg.org/dailybuild_logs/index.EN.html works fine.

I'm new to openSG and I'm trying to compile the source.
VS8 works like a treat, but with VS7 I get the following errors:
tif32.lib(tif_unix.obj) : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol
__imp__read referenced in function __tiffReadProc
tif32.lib(tif_unix.obj) : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol
__imp__write referenced in function __tiffWriteProc
tif32.lib(tif_unix.obj) : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol
__imp__lseek referenced in function __tiffSeekProc
tif32.lib(tif_unix.obj) : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol
__imp__close referenced in function __tiffCloseProc
tif32.lib(tif_unix.obj) : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol
__imp__fstat referenced in function __tiffSizeProc
tif32.lib(tif_unix.obj) : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol
__imp__open referenced in function _TIFFOpen
..\lib\dbg\OSGSystemD.dll : fatal error LNK1120: 6 unresolved externals
I have noticed on the mailing list that this has been a problem before
with VS8 as well, but it has been solved.
Does anyone have any clue/tips what needs to be done to get it working?
All directories and paths are set up just fine.
