Dear Kyle, The number of cable connected has nothing to do with the controllers that is visible.
Even if you are connected through just one cable, the number of controllers visible will be the same. But it seems like what you are asking for is lun masking. That is seeing just some luns and not seeing some. So if this is what you want to do, than in normal entry level storage arrays we will have to implement it on the client side ( solaris box connected to the array ).
