[osol-help] [networking-discuss] please help => network configuration !!

# cat /etc/defaultrouter
192.168.1.1
# cat /etc/hostname.nge0 
192.168.1.17

still I am not able to ping to 192.168.1.1

Waht else might be going wrong ?
