Hi Kyle, My OpenSSL installation has been on my machine a while and I'm not sure that it's my installation that's at fault. This, https://launchpad.net/pyopenssl , has already built and run successfully again my installation. Python interface for OpenSSL. I'm guessing that the test code I used, http://www.rtfm.com/openssl-examples/ , is at fault. This code is old so it would seem that I either need to fix it or find different test code.
Still, I can see that mine is a matter of usage and so for OpenSSL-Users as opposed to OpenSSL-Dev, so I'll move to the former. Oh yes (although I'm probably just shoving myself deeper into the error of my ways), I'm using the Windows version of OpenSSL that's found here (as in my original message): http://www.slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html It has no INSTALL.W32. Yes I can now find that file elsewhere on the web, but bascially, blah, blah, woof, woof pat wolfoftheair wrote: > > Please, read INSTALL.W32.
