Hi Stefan,

sorry we didn't. My boss forced me to migrate to Igel TCs, because of the licence change in the consus enterprise apps (ica-client-13 and iSeries Access) and the missing localboot feature. :-(

Regards

Thorsten

Hello Thorsten,
hello List!

I have the same problem after installing ica-client-12 to OTC 1.0.

gdm[pid] segfault at 80 ip 0806148f

Did you ever solve the problem?
Anyone else maybe?

Cheers,
Stefan

    Hi,

our production system is currently running an otc 1.0.0 server
    with base
    1.0.0-1 and otc-server components 0.4.5-488.
Everything works fine. But after upgrading to latest available base
1.1.0-01 and latest otc-server components 1.0.0-1 we get segfaults on
    the upgraded client.
The localboot upgrade process runs clean, but after that gdm is
    quitting
    with "gdm[3411]: segfault at 80 ip 0806148f sp bfe7bf10 error 4 in
    gdm[8048000+3c000]".
After that i tried gpxe-boot to confirm, that this is not an issue
caused by an faulty upgrade process. But gpxe runs in the same error.
We tried forcing the graphics driver to use VESA, but without success.

The client we tested is an OTC554. We cloned the server an tested it
inside a testing environment before we unleash it upon the rest of our
    clients (nearly 150 clients).

Has anyone an idea what's wrong?

    Regards

    Thorsten
