Michael looked at info a few weeks ago for customizing his Oralux Live CD 0.7 alpha. Here is a script, oralux-customize.sh, which helps to build a new ISO including your knoppix image file (usually stored on USB-key or hard disk). The very first application is to build a new CD with your own preferences already set.
