You need to set up your own little DNS.
I assume you're on NT otherwise as a UNIX user you'd sure knew how to do
it.
If so
1. Open a file \WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\Hosts
2. Below the line
127.0.0.1 localhost
Add a line
127.0.0.1 www.example1.com
3. Reboot
That should do it
