Hi List,

we are installing Oscar 5.0 on Suse 10.0. We did everything successfully
until step 6. Now we try to install the clients with pxeboot.
Everything works fine until the client tries to get the IP Address again
from the DHCP Server:

logfile Oscar-Server:

this is what the client tells:
start_network
IP Address not set with pre-boot settings.

sleep 0: This is to give your switch (if you're using one) time to recognize
your ethernet card before we try the network. Tip: You can use <ctrl> +
<c> to
pass the time (pun intended).

NO DHCPOFFERS received.
No working leases in persistent database - sleeping.

I couldn't configure the network interface using DHCP.

/my_modules # nc: connect: Network is unreachable

we are wondering why the image hasn“t the module for the networkcard. It
should be eepro100, which is configured on the server automatically. We do
not know how to check whether the module is included or not in the image.
It is not possible to load the module on the client with insmod.

Any ideas?

regards,
Sylvia
