Geoffroy,

This is great news eventhough I'll need time to backport my 100+ comits.

Can someone here create me a svn account so I can do some commits?
my sourceforge account is olahaye74 so you can create the same if you want.

When commiting, I'll post here to inform about the changes so one can stop me
if I go in the wrong direction :-)

Best regards,

Olivier.

I do not see the problem merging with SVN; i do not see the benefit of keeping
your code somewhere else. Even if you break trunk, trunk is actually designed
for this: developments. And nobody write bug-free code so i really do not have
a problem with this as a developer, it is just part of the project's life.

If you check-in your code, i will even create all the RPMs on my side and push
them to the online repository.

Dear all,

I've finaly reached a point were Oscar on CentOS-6.3 seems fully functionnal
(step 8 reached with 0 errors) with the following features (not in the official
svn):
- Many bug fixes in the code
- GPU support in wizard and database
- maui-3.3.1
- torque-4.1.4pre (4.1.3 is not usable and 4.1.4pre works fine with a release
in next few days)
This includes GPU support and BLCR (Berkley Checkpoint Restart) support and is
built with munge authentication.
- openmpi-oscar-1.6.3 with BLCR support and torque support
- blcr oscar package
- realy enahanced test_user in ganglia and torque
- support for xz archive in oscar packager
- many more

This represents about 100 commits from the official svn tree.

My question is simple:
I'd like to have advise from people here on what to do now:
- Is it better to try to merge my work into the official svn (asking for write
access) and risk to break things?
OR
- Is it a to big step for the current oscar svn and it is preferable to keep my
mods away from this tree and setup something else elsewhere?

Geoffroy, IMHO, eventhough you left the lead, you have the best view of the
project. What is your opinion about that?

Cheers,

Olivier.
