Terrorist cell dismantled in Casablanca, weapons smuggling suspects arrested in Laayoune Moroccan security services dismantled a terrorist cell called Jamaat Attawhid Oua Al Jihad Fi Al Maghrib, Aujourd'hui Le Maroc reported on Thursday (November 16th). The newspaper quoted police sources as saying that 13 suspects were arrested. Attawhid is the second terrorist cell dismantled since August after Ansar el Mehdi. In Laayoune last week, two Moroccans and a Mauritanian were arrested for illegal smuggling of weapons into Western Sahara, Mauritanian and Moroccan press reported Wednesday (November 15th). Abdelkader Kouider, one of the suspects, is an auxiliary forces corporal in Laayoune. Police have started investigating the affair.
