They were said to be members of the 'islamist' and pro-Palestinian groups Forsane Alizza and Euro-Palestine. For about 20 minutes, the Muslims prevented passengers from boarding. According to an eyewitness, "a horde of savages terrorised, threatened and intimidated passengers". Police summoned reinforcements to deal with the situation. Around a dozen people were arrested and charged with public order offences.
