You can make a bit-banging adapter yourself. See

        /usr/src/linux/Documentation/i2c/i2c-parport

That adapter usable only for testing purposes, as it takes 100% processor load 
due to the bitbanging. For a production device, you could use the i2c or 
smbus master built into most PC I/O and graphic chipsets.
