Hello guys i was buying ds2405 for input and output, today i bought an
ds2450 for tests.. and it have 4 input and 4 output :D for a cost of 24$
versus 9$ so 4 ds2405 would cost 36$
ok
the question...
now that i will only buy ds2450 :) i want to use ds2450 for some others
things...

could we build an PT100 or PT1000 termometer with ds2450???
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resistance_temperature_detector

we could set it for 2, 3 or 4 wires and they could be put in ad0, ad1,
ad2, ad3 respectively
so with this we could make some files in ds2450.c :)

like temperature9 temperature10 temperature11 temperature12 for ds1820.c

we could implement and
RTD_PT100_2wire
RTD_PT100_3wire
RTD_PT100_4wire
RTD_PT1000_2wire
RTD_PT1000_3wire
RTD_PT1000_4wire

for ds2450.c
what do you think?
putting it on ds2450.c could help some owphp, owperl, owtcl clients to
avoid uplevel programming language and put an lower level to ds2450.c
and... make an new "sensor" for owfs :D
we can't use thermocouples cause we need coldjuction temperature, so we
can use PT100 or PT1000 to get temperature :D, we could build and
default pcb project, put it on owfs website for anyone that want an RTD
sensor :)

i'm thinking on use they for my kitchen in my beach house :D
if we use 3 wires, PIO3 will be an switch to turn off my stove after 30
minutes :D

good bye guys, i didn't understood how to get volts in ds2450.c if i
could i would make like i told in ds1820.c
see you later ;) bye
