Hello!
Yes I do indeed use that distribution. My only problems lie outside
the purview of this list, and associated projects.

Meaning that KDE refuses to install, (On this machine I expected
that.) And the ZeroConf daemon we need almost always hides from the
search engine for the Slackware third party site, (
www.linuxpackages.net ). Also I do not use the 2.6 kernel at present
so my activities steer clear of wondering how the USB device would be
managed.

In short Paul your responses, even on an AMD64 based machine and our
correspondents, on a Pentium family machine are nearly similar. And
are what I would expect to see if I was currently able to test the
etire series of methods as described.
