Subject: owfs and MP00200
Hello,
I'm trying to use owfs with adapter made by Polish electronics company
MeraProjekt: http://www.meraprojekt.com.pl/mp00200.html
Unfortunately, owfs (under Linux, Ubuntu 7.04) seems to not support this
adapter. The only difference between MP00200 and DS9490R is lack of DS2401
in
MP00200. Is this serial number chip neccesary for owfs to initialize ds9490
adapter properly? Now when I start owfs with MP00200 connected to my USB
port
(and no devices on 1-wire bus) I get something like that:
#v+
# ./owfs -u --foreground --error_level 9 --error_print 2 /mnt/1wire/
CONNECT: fuse mount point: /mnt/1wire/
CALL: PARSENAME path=[]
CONNECT: Adapter found: 004/003

and when I start it with DS1996 connected to the bus I get:

The difference is "BUS_next return" (-19 with no devices vs -2 with DS1996)
and "no pulse detected" with no devices.
Do you have any ideas, what could be wrong? Dallas' OneWireViewer (under
Windows) works fine with this adapter, so I think that adapter isn't the
problem here.
Thanks,
Michal
