That's true, modern linux distributions now use FUSE extensively. We were
one of the first projects to use FUSE and some of the documentation reflects
this. What should I change to keep others from wasting their time?

Ahh.. I think I can anticipate the problem. The Microhub creates
"subdirectories" and we access them like a true filesystem.
In your case:

\ main

So you should look in those subdirectories for your other devices. (e.g. 'ls
1F.1F.676B05000000/main')
Perhaps 'ls -R 1F*/*' to see them all.
I don't know which version of the Microhub you have, but if it's like the
AAG TAI-8595 there is also a port called "out" that will be seen in the main
directory.
