That's great.
In looking through the code to figure out your difficulty, I found a way to
optimise the code and reduce wear on the DS2438. It will be reflected in the
next release.
Briefly, the VAD/VDD switch is taken from the scratchpad memory, rather than
EEPROM backup. By only setting the option in the scratch pad, we speed up
conversion and reduce flashing the eeprom. Even better, each read of the
voltage pulls the VAD/VDD switch back from eeprom, reducing the work another
25%.
