I'm (we) only using owserver (and owhttpd conneting to it), guess the name owfs is also somewaht misleading nowadays (owfs is a quite "old" [not negative!] project which started by exposing 1-Wire into fuse; Thats fine for small stuff still, for 10k sensors etc. one would/could live without ;) Fuse is nice stuff on full-fledged platforms but gets a pain an smaller systems very soon.. The good news is, you can use it in any combination: I'd start with owserver talking to the busmasters and anything else to owserver, just my 5ct..
