I am a bit confused. As far as I can tell if I install owfs from a repository, 'apt-get install owfs' it installs into /usr/lib/bin but if I download from sourceforge and install from that package it installs into /opt/owfs/bin. This is on RasPi running Raspian, but I guess the same applies on anything.
Why does it install to different places? Is there some way to instruct it where to install?
