Hi, I've found few more licensing ambiguites. Let mu summarize: 1) Main COPYING file contains old FSF address. Could you please include new from http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html ? 2) owshell is MIT licensed, yet the actual license file is missing. I'd be happy if you put attached COPYING.MIT in owshell directory. 3) http://owfs.org/index.php?page=license does not agree fully with Debian. This is strange situation, upstream project should be followed with licensing choices. Especially by Debian, I always trusted them with license audit. Nevertheless, Debian maintainer thinks as follows: http://sources.debian.net/src/owfs/2.9p0-1/debian/copyright I see "LGPL-2" license mentioned by Debian, but nowhere to be found on owfs licensing page. 4) also on licensing page: "When GPL v3 is ratified, we probably will dual license under that version as well." So, v3 got ratified some time ago - time for licensing audit and relicensing? ;-) Thanks, -- Tomasz Torcz ,,If you try to upissue this patchset I shall be seeking xmpp: [email protected] an IP-routable hand grenade.'' -- Andrew Morton (LKML)
