Tatsuhiko,

Just did :-) Thanks for the pointer - I used to subscribe to this list
a long time ago, but there wasn't much traffic on it then, so I had
dropped it (I didn't know it had picked up so much since then.)

To answer the question that I saw in the archive. Apache::PAR does
include support for serving HTML, stylesheets, etc (as well as other
types of static content.) Take a look at the perl doc for
Apache::PAR::Static. Btw, the doco is a little difficult on the eyes
right now, I'm currently working on a short tutorial to better explain
how Apache::PAR works.

Actually, java's WAR files were exactly what I have had in mind when
working on this module. If anyone has any suggestions on how to improve
this, please let me know. Two long term goals for Apache::PAR that I
have been thinking about is the ability to read .xml configuration files
from the archive (currently they are in Apache conf format), and the
ability to co-exist inside an existing .WAR archive (might already, but
I haven't tried it yet.)

Thanks,

Nathan Byrd
