In a x86 system.
 - I'm using gcc-4.4.3
 - glibc-2.11.2 needs gcc>=4.3
 - gcc-4.2.4-r1 can't be uninstalled because glibc depends on it.

I tried to rebuild glibc with no success.

Any hint?
