Hi Roderich,

I just ran perl Makefile.pl and got an error message:
Fileparse(): need a valid pathname at
C:/myacitvestateperl/lib/ExtUtils/CBuilder/Base.pm

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Ying

The good thing is we do have Microsoft visual studio version 10, do you know

In theory it should work out of the box if it's C++ compiler is on the PATH.
Unpack the PAR::Packer tarball, change into the top level directory and

Perl Makefile.PL
make
make test
make install

I'm not sure about make here, does VS provide make, dmake or nmake?

BTW, please keep par@perl.org<mailto:par@perl.org> on CC, there may be people
with more Windows knowledge there.

Cheers Roderich
