Hi Stefan, Even when you set VTK_USE_RPATH to off, you shouldn't have to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH. ParaView does a forwarding trick that should make it work without setting the path. I am guessing you installed using make install? Can you send us a list of all files under /usr/local/lib/paraview-3.5? Also, can you run paraview with the --ldd argument and post the output?
