In response to ticket #150 in the pylons trac, I wrote a small middleware for processing HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE in the same way that turbogears does it and implemented it as something to throw into paste, setting the environ['locale'] to a priority-sorted list of locale names. The patch with test cases is available at the url below. Please consider it for inclusion in paste.
