Hi Gordon. It sounds like the Diamond Cut products are quite interesting.
I'm using Soundforge, but when I purchased Soundforge 5.0, I also got a
deal. I only paid $99 for it as an introductory price. I got a deal on
that one. It was 20 cents on a dollar, since Soundforge is around $500.
It's good to hear about all the new sound editing programs that are being
developed. It's good to have all the noise reduction and vinal restoration
that's out, because of all the old recordings we have that we want to have
restored. Also, it's good to have things like pitch shift, because maybe
when listing to something like oldtime radio, I can control the pitch, so
that the characters sound like what we remember them, instead of being set
too high; then we can also clean up the extra noise in the recordings.
