I would love to learn how to use the loops.  I've tried and failed, even
though I have the scripts.
Parts of Adobe Audition are accessible with the scripts, but it isn't
completely accessible by any stretch of the imagination, as far as I know.

It was called Cool Edit Pro version 2.1 - this was recently taken over by
Adobe and renamed Audition. As far as I'm aware there's no difference except
for the rebranding. There are scripts available for Jaws for both versions
of the program. As I said before I've never used it for loops but given that
the rest of the program is fairly accessible I think it should be ok for
making and using loops. There are certainly are thousands of loops available
from Adobe  - they're free when you purchase  the full program.
